Working House Fire 1000 Block of W. Evens Road

On 5/22/17 just after 5 a.m. the department was alerted for a working house fire. While en route, multiple calls were taken confirming a working alarm. The first alarm assignment also included Tanker Co 55 and Ladder Co 41 to the call. Engine 4 arrived under the direction of Fire Chief Kevin Sipple and found a 2 story single family residence with fire showing from all sides and placed 2 hand lines and 1 master stream in service. Tower 41 arrived and placed their master stream in service also and assisted with fire suppression.. Tanker Co 55 continued in for water supply along with Tanker 49. The fire was placed under control in 1 hr 12 minutes.
