Felton Community Fire Company Celebrates EMS Week

During National EMS Week, the Felton Community Fire Company proudly recognizes the EMTs, paramedics, and support personnel who serve the community each day. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to providing emergency medical care continue to make a difference throughout Felton and the surrounding communities. Thank you to all EMS staff and volunteers for your service and sacrifice.

Ambulance Available Through Sealed Bid Process

May 18, 2026

The Felton Community Fire Company is accepting sealed bids for the department’s 2013 Type I Basic Life Support Ambulance. The unit has proudly served the community for many years and includes a new crate engine and additional upgrades. Bid submissions will be accepted through June 18, 2026.

Cleaning & Event Setup Proposals Now Accepted

May 15, 2026

The Felton Community Fire Company is currently accepting proposals for Cleaning and Event Setup Services for the department banquet hall. The position includes event setup, breakdown, and cleaning services throughout the year. Proposal submissions will be accepted through June 12, 2026.

Vehicle Extrication Training Conducted

May 11, 2026

This week’s Monday night training focused on vehicle extrication techniques and equipment familiarity. Hands-on training allows members to remain confident and prepared when responding to vehicle rescue incidents and other emergencies involving trapped patients.

Members Participate in Mock DUI Demonstration

May 8, 2026

Members recently joined students at Lake Forest High School for a mock DUI extrication demonstration ahead of prom weekend. The event helped highlight the serious consequences of impaired and distracted driving while encouraging students to make safe and responsible decisions.
