Historic Home Destroyed

At 13:48 hours Felton and Magnolia Fire Companies were alerted for a house fire at 1235 Peach Basket Rd. At 13:53 hours 1st Assistant Chief Moxley arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling heavily involved in fire. Firefighters from Felton, Magnolia, Camden-Wyoming, and Harrington Fire Companies brought the fire under control at 15:36 hours. The fire was investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office. A male occupant was transported and released from Kent General Hospital.
