Lake Forest North Fire Prevention - Station 48

Today we hosted 743 kids from Lake Forest North Elementary for Fire Prevention Day. Kids were moved through stations where they learned various fire safety/ prevention topics. Students looked over and inside a fire engine, ambulance , and police car. They crawled through a smoke filled house, looked at a DNREC HAZMAT truck, DAFB crash truck, squirted a fire hose, practiced calling 911, and were treated to popcorn while watching a fire safety movie. This event could not be a success without the hard work of the Fire Prevention Committee, Fire Company Members, Auxiliary Members, Fire Company Employees, and the other Volunteers who helped out.
