Charlotte Stevenson


Charlotte Stevenson, of Felton, passed away May 21, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of the late William A. (Dickie) and Lucille Robinson of Felton. Charlotte as an LPN at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital and had worked in the operating room for over 38 years. She enjoyed her job thoroughly and always had a smile for the patients when she talked to them in the operating room. She was an active life member of the Felton Fire Company Auxiliary with 45 years of service. She spent much of her free time at the fire house working in the kitchen and helping with other fund raising events when she wasn’t working at the hospital. She would help tend bar, make ice cream or help with dinners to name a few…but more importantly she was there to help out whatever the need. Charlotte was an avid collector of Aunt Jemima dolls and other memorabilia. She was an outgoing individual who had no problem telling you what she thought….many times without being asked. There was never a doubt of where she stood on matters. In addition to being a life member of the Felton Community Fire Company Auxiliary, she was a graduate of Felton High School, member of the Felton High School Alumni Association and a member of the Odd Fellows-Sarah Rebekah Lodge #16.
