Each Spring as the farmers start to harvest barley and wheat during dry periods it creates a dangerous situation. One small spark or heat source can consume an entire field and anything in it's path very quickly. Today Felton Fire Company along with our Mutual Aid/ Neighboring Companies responded to 3 field fires. Attached are a few cell phone pictures. In addition to Felton volunteers we would like to thank Camden-Wyoming, Carlise, Farmington, Frederica, Harrington, Houston, Little Creek, and Magnolia Fire Companies.
