Basement Fire - 43 Barratts Chapel Rd

Just prior to 7 PM Station 48 was alerted for a Automatic Fire Alarm at a single family dwelling. Just after the initial dispatch the call was upgraded to a working structure fire. Past Chief Rains arrived on scene shortly after to find heavy smoke showing from the house. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and cleared around 9PM. Station 55 (Magnolia) was requested to assist, and Station 49 (Frederica) stood by at our Station while we were out. Units on scene: E48-1, E48-2, E48-3, T48-5, B-48, E55-4, R-55-1, FM-13.
