Rev. David Paul


Reverend David G. Paul, 76 of Felton passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Rev. Paul was born in Pottsville, Pa. the son of the late Honorable Harold L. and Marion L. Paul. Rev. Paul was a United Methodist Minister serving the Peninsula-Delaware Conference for 53 years. Rev. Paul was a Master Mason and served for 60 years in the Volunteer Fire Services. He was involved in 14 different fire departments in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. In the State of Delaware, listed in alphabetical order, he served in Dagsboro, Delaware City, Felton, Frederica, Greenwood, Port Penn and Seaford. Rev. Paul was Past Chief of the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company and served as Chaplin for the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, the Kent County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter’s Association. In honor of his 60 years of service as a volunteer a Fireman’s Funeral was held at Felton Community Fire Company on Thursday, April 25th 2013. Rev. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret A. Paul of Felton, daughters, Bonnie J. Bosies of Delmar and Beverly A. Paul of Felton.
