Vehicle Fire - Edwardsville Rd

On April 7, 2011 at 0757, Station 48 was alerted for a vehicle fire on Edwardsville Rd just off of Burnite Mill Rd. Command 48, Asst Chief Thompson, arrived on scene to find a pick-up truck, off the roadway, fully involved. Engine 48-1 arrived on scene and deployed a 1-3/4” attack line and made a quick knock down of the fire. The interior and surrounding areas were searched with negative findings. The scene was placed under control and turned over to the Delaware State Police.
