Delaware State Fair 2011 - Harrington, DE

The Felton Community Fire Company’s Ice Cream Concession Trailer was situated on William D. Murphy Street across from Kid’s Zone and the Delaware Grange’s Cafeteria. We participated in the entire 10 days of the Fair from start to finish staffing it with all volunteers. Our volunteers were from the fire company membership including many hours worked by our junior and probationary members with additional help from our auxiliary. The final tally shows that we served 392 gallons of our 7 flavors. The flavor statistics show that chocolate was the most popular followed by mint chocolate chip, peach, pineapple, vanilla, oreo cookie and strawberry.
