Field Fire

Jun 21, 2022

On Tuesday, June 21st around 14:09 hours Station 48 was alerted for a field on fire in the area of Burnite Mill Rd and Two Mile Rd. The incident was placed under control at 15:01 hours. We were assisted by Harrington, Marydel, Greensboro, and Goldsboro Fire Companies.

Vehicle Rescue Training

Jun 13, 2022

Members participated in Vehicle Rescue Training last night. Members performed patient extraction with our career staff to better the knowledge between paid and volunteer crews. Dash rolls, door pops, and dash lifts were some of the few techniques used. We want to thank our partners at Fitzgeralds Auto Salvage for always providing vehicles to better educate our members in vehicle extrication.
